●The Sudan Liberation Movement/ Army had recently received an invitation letter from South Sudan Republic president His Excellency Salva Kiir Mayardit, accordingly; the SLM/A vice -chairman’s visit Maj. General Abdalla Haran Adam who arrived in Juba this Tuesday evening 10th of November 2020 is based on that invitation.. However; SLM/A vice chairman in his short visit will deliberate and share thoughts with His Excellency Mr. president and South Sudan government’s concerned authorities on the optimum way to realize peace in Sudan based on SLM/A road map to a just ,sustainable, lasting and comprehensive peace .The Movement’s overall Sudanese – Sudanese dialogue which is proposed to take place inside Sudan and that is delayed due to COVID- 19 pandemic ought to be duly explained and shared with our brothers in South Sudan Republic .The Sudan Liberation Movement/ Army would like, however! to kindly inform and reaffirm to its members, ardent supporters , well- wishers and the general public that, this official visit has nothing to do with, the negotiation with Sudan’s Transitional Government or with the recently held Juba peace forum, but it squarely aim at canvassing the movement’s viewpoint on issues of peace and stability in Sudan. Finally; the movement had promised to avail it’s roadmap to the public, forthwith; the situation imposed by the pandemic improved a little bit and still on that commitment.
