Media update regarding the status of the detainee Imad Elsadig Hamdon
For the the third day since the 14th of December 2015, NISS continue to detain Imad with out taking any formal steps to present him to court or revealing his current medical situation.
On the first day of his detention, his brother received a phone call from a blocked number from someone who claimed to be an intelligence officer whom allowed Imad to talk with his brother in the phone and report to him that he is detained in NISS headquarter in Khartoum North near Shendi transportation stop
.
The family went to NISS on the second day (15th of Dec.) and filled the inquiry form and requested a visit. The answer was Imad name was not reported to them as being detained and asked the family to fill another form with promises to contact the family if they had reached to any further data.
Imad’s brother received another call from another unregistered number (88888888888), which was from someone claiming to a colonel in the ranks of NISS. The self claimed colonel said to the family that they are in the process to transfer Imad to the general Prosecution for charges of crimes against state and other crimes. He also asked the family to publicise any of this because this will cause more harm to Imad.
All the above increases our worry over Imad’s wellbeing specially with the past history of the ill-treatment. we- his family- demands the following:
– allowing us an immediate visit to Imad.
– immediately present him to the court with public announcement of the charges against him.
We will not stop publishing on the case of our detained son and we will keep the the public opinion informed about any updates in this case

يواصل جهاز الأمن والمخابرات الوطني السوداني اعتقاله لأخي عماد الصادق إسماعيل حمدون لليوم الثالث منذ 14/ ديسمبر الجاري دون اتخاذ إحراءات ضده أو تقديمه لمحاكمة أو الكشف عن حالته الصحي.
اتصل بي أحد منتسبي الجهاز في اليوم الأول للإعتقال من (الرقم الخاص) وتحدثت مع عماد أفادني بأنه في مكان إعتقالنا المعهود في مباني الجهاز جوار موقف شندي.
وتوجهنا في اليوم الثاني للإعتقال صبيحة يوم 15ديسمبر الجاري لمقر رئاسة الجهاز بالخرطوم مكتب الاستعلامات وطلبنا ملء فورم الزيارة فوجئنا بالرد أن اسمه لم يصل إلى الآن لمكتب الاستعلامات وطلب منا ملء فورم الاستيضاح وقد تم ذلك بالفعل ووعدونا بالاتصال بنا فور تلقيهم لخبر.
فوجئت اليوم باتصال من (الرقم 888888888888888) يفيد بأنه عقيد في جهاز الأمن الوطني أفادني بأنه سيتم تقديم عماد للنيابة العامة لتلقيهم بلاغات عديدة منها ما هو ضد الدولة ومنها ما هو جنائي، وطالبني ذلك الشخص بعدم النشر لأن ذلك سيضر بقضية أخي.
كل ما جرى إلى الآن يزيد من قلقنا البالغ على صحة عماد لأن تاريخ تعاملهم السيء ينبيئ بأسوأ السيناريوهات.
لذلك نطالب بالسماح لنا فورا بزيارته والاطمئنان على صحته.
ونطالب بتقديمه فورا لمحاكمة ونحن مستعدون لقبول أي حكم مهما بلغت كلفته في حال تمت إدانة عماد.
ليعلم الجميع أننا لن نكف عن النشر والتعاطي في هذه القضى إلى أن يتم إطلاق سراح عماد الصادق أو تقديمه لمحاكمة عادلة.
الحرية للحبيب عماد ولكل الأسرى والمعتقلين والمخفيين قسرا في زنازين النظام.
