The President of the republic of Sudan Omar Hassan Al-Bashir who’s among invited IGAD leaders might skip the meeting for fear of arrest.

According to unnamed Sudanese official President Bashir who is wanted by ICC for crimes in Darfur might not attend the extra-ordinary 28 heads of state in Mogadishu.

Sources said the biggest concern for Mr. Al- Bashir is western boots on the ground in Somalia that might act on the orders of their respective states through by passing Somali government sovereignty.

Several states have previously rejected ICC call for the arrest of Sudanese President during visit to respective states mainly in Kenya in 2013, South Africa last year and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt frequently.

According to Hague based court Al- Bashir is wanted for crimes committed by the army in Darfur conflict.
