IMPORTANT STATEMENT
On 14 7 2016 SPLM/N forces in South Kordofan Nuba Mountains region repelled NCP forces and militias attack on Lima area west kadugli city, the enemy moved from Kelak, the invading forces suffered losses in lives and equipment have not yet been counted, on 11 7 016 NCP militias from kelak attacked farmers in Lima area, killing lady Fatima Ibrahim and wounded her husband, and on 10 7 016 NCP artillery unit from inside Al-dandor garrison fired several shells from long-range artillery targeted Oma and Um- dravy areas west Heiban town led to the destruction of many farms and caused horror and fear among the civilians.
These attacks confirm beyond any reasonable doubt that the alleged unilateral ceasefire for four months declared by Field Marshal Omar Hassan al-Bashir is nothing but cheap smokescreen media propaganda, and that peace slogans sings by National Congress Party regime is a lie to killed time and prolong itself in power, these attacks targeted civilians and their farms to be prevented from cultivating a decent living since they are under siege and denied humanitarian assistance by this regime from 2011, we would like to assure that SPLA/N forces in high morale to defend itself and protect the civilians and their properties from any attacks and aggression by paid NCP forces and militias.
