(The UNAMID should protect the civilians not vindicate the perpetrators. )

■ In the face of this barbaric and savage massacre committed by the genocider Omer Al Basheer against the innocent displaced civilians in a day broad light in Kalma IDP camp, we are once again surprised by the weak position of the UNAMID and its ineptitude action shown by only issuing such a weak statement that equating the victims to the perpetrators.

– While it’s  every body’s knowledge that the Sudan government forces and its allied militia committed this heinous massacre in front of the eyes and ears of UNAMID, upon direct orders and presence of Gen.Basherf himself, the UNAMID failed to call a spade spade to squarely hold the government responsibility.

– How come the UNAMID calls for restraint while it knows that what happened is not ( *clashes between government forces and internally displaced*) as it’s statement claims. UNAMID knows this is an unprovoked attack by the government militias of over two hundred and sixty military vehicles armed with heavy machine guns.

– It’s unfortunate that the UNAMID position is far below its  mandate, which showing clear  inability to discharge its mandate.
We vocally call upon the UNAMID to exercise minimum boldness, show necessary courage, stop surrendering to the government and carry out its mandated mission of protecting civilians.

– While we state that this is not acceptable, we express our dissatisfaction and indignation for this ineptitude action by the UNAMID

– The UNAMID should swiftly move to protect the civilians and not keep sending wrong signals suggesting to vindicate the perpetrators.

– It is high time for the International Community to hold the Sudan Government responsible,and for the UNAMID to help international community by way of disclosing the truth reality on the ground.
