To: All Human Rights Organizations, Amnesty International and Civil Rights Organizations
My name is Hamid ELdood Mahdi, associate professor, Alneelain University, Sudan. I am from South Kordofan State which is considered as one of the war affected areas. Most of my people have been displaced for many years just because of their stance. Many have fallen victims to the brutality practised by the current regime.
What I have mentioned is very little to cover what is supposed to be said about the plight. My personal story with this merciless regime has started since I was a university student fighting for the rights and privileges of the marginalized people from the whole Sudan and in particular those who suffer from the war orchestrated by the NCP.
According to my continuous resistence against the aggressive attitude of the so called Khartoum regime, I have always been harrassed and arrested  by the NCP militia who nicknamed themselves "The National Sudanese Security and Intelligence".

Despite the economic problems and domestic crises the nation has been suffering from, the country's support for Palestine is considered to be the main drive for the Sudanese to back the government of President Omar al-Bashir.
